KOREAN BIBIMBAP & KIMCHI

Embark on a culinary adventure and immerse yourself in vibrant Korean flavours with our intro to Korean Bibimbap class! This rice and vegetable dish is a quintessential meal in Korea and it is delicious. While it may look simple from the outset, there are a lot of fixings to prepare. ‘Bibim’ means to mix, and ‘bap’ means rice or food; and once you know the basics of this comforting principle dish, you can make a million different ways.

Discover the intricate balance of sweet, spicy, peppery, and sour flavours that define Korean cuisine. Feed your soul and treat your taste buds by recreating a super-comforting bibimbap (the world-famous Korean rice bowl) with us. Ask any Korean what the definitive Korean dish is, and chances are they will tell you that it is kimchi! Kimchi is not only delicious, but also retains many nutrients and develops probiotics (healthy bacteria) which helps to improve digestive health.

In this hands-on cooking class, you will learn how to make fresh kimchi “Geotjeori”, and you will learn how to ferment kimchi, so that you can make fermented kimchi at home.

*For vegetarians: please inform us in advance when booking, so we can prepare suitable
